If you have recently travelled in a malaria-risk area, please wait six months before donating blood after returning to Finland. Travelling elsewhere in the country results in a 28-day donation deferral period.

Malaria occurs in the southern parts of the country, but there is no malaria risk, for example, in Tehran.
