New: Join the Stem Cell Registry

You can now join the Stem Cell Registry at any of Blood Service’s ten locations.

Anyone aged 18–35 and in good general health can join the registry. Take a quick test to see if you’re eligible.

Ask our staff for more information.

An easy way to do good

Every weekday, we need around 700 donors to ensure the availability of blood products for patient care. Donated blood is vital for accident victims, premature babies, and cancer patients, for example. New blood donors are constantly needed, as currently about 3 % of Finns donate blood annually.

Blood donation is an easy and tangible way to help others. ❤️

Parking

We have a few parking spaces intended for donors on the courtyard of the building. Access to the courtyard is from Kauppakatu.

Parking is now possible also in Torikeskus car park. We offer free parking for one hour for donors.
