Blood Service Centre moves to Sanoma House

The Yrjönkatu Blood Service Centre moves to Sanoma House. The Blood Service Centre will open its doors at Sanoma House on Monday, March 1st at 12:00 noon.

The last donor sessions on Yrjönkatu are arranged on Wednesday, February 24th. The Blood Service Centre will be closed on Thursday, February 25th, and on Friday, February 26th, because of the move.

A Blood Service Centre has operated on Yrjönkatu since 2002.

- I wish to extend a warm thanks to all of our donors. And I hope that our current and new donors will find their way to our new facilities, says Maarit Kuusisaari-Bergström, Regional Manager at the Finnish Red Cross Blood Services.

The new location is only a temporary solution. The final location of the Blood Service Centre will be decided during the spring, and the Centre will move to its permanent address before the summer.

The goal is to receive approximately 100 donors at Sanoma House every day.
